NEW DELHI: Majalisar harajin Kaya da Ayyuka (GST), karkashin jagorancin Ministan Kudi Nirmala Sitharaman, ta yanke shawarar a ranar 31 ga Disamba don jinkirta hauhawar ayyukan masaku daga kashi 5 zuwa kashi 12 cikin 100 sakamakon adawa daga jihohi da masana'antu.
Tun da farko, yawancin jihohin Indiya sun yi adawa da karin harajin kayan masaku tare da neman a jinkirta. Jihohi sun kawo batun da suka hada da Gujarat, West Bengal, Delhi, Rajasthan da Tamil Nadu. Jihohin sun ce ba su goyi bayan karin kudin GST na masaku daga kashi 5 cikin 100 na yanzu zuwa kashi 12 cikin 100 daga ranar 1 ga Janairu, 2022.
A halin yanzu, Indiya tana ɗaukar harajin kashi 5% akan kowane tallace-tallace har zuwa Rs 1,000, kuma shawarar Hukumar GST ta ƙara harajin masaku daga kashi 5% zuwa 12% zai shafi ɗimbin ƙananan ƴan kasuwa masu ciniki. A bangaren masaku, hatta masu sayen kayayyaki za a tilasta musu biyan makudan kudade idan aka aiwatar da dokar.
Indiya tamasana'antar yadiya yi adawa da shawarar, yana mai cewa matakin na iya yin mummunan tasiri, wanda zai haifar da raguwar bukatar da kuma koma bayan tattalin arziki.
Ministan kudi na Indiya ya shaidawa taron manema labarai cewa an kira taron ne cikin gaggawa. Sitharaman ya ce an kira taron ne bayan da ministan kudi na Gujarat ya nemi a dage matakin da za a dauka kan sauya tsarin haraji da za a yi a taron majalisar na watan Satumba na 2021.
